Yoga Basics - Yoga 101

Whether you’ve never done yoga before or you’ve been practicing your entire life, this class will specifically teach and target basics that are necessary for a safe and enjoyable practice.  

If you aren’t familiar with yoga, this is the PERFECT class for you. Learn proper alignment and poses so that when you go to a regular group class, you’ll know what your poses should look like and feel like! Take the time to properly set your body up for success.

If you’ve been doing yoga for a while, it’s possible you’re not aligned correctly. You may have never learned the foundation, or your body may have changed since you first began practicing (babies, anyone?!) Poor alignment can wreak havoc on your body leading to injury and taking away from your experience in a yoga class.  

Everyone’s body is different - ON PURPOSE. Our poses are not supposed to look like our neighbor’s pose! Yoga is about how you FEEL, not how you LOOK. We'll guide you into proper alignment and FEEL GOOD YOGA.
