In this fun and empowering workshop, you will learn the fundamentals to begin safely balancing on your hands in yoga. By gaining a better understanding of alignment and whole-body integration, taking flight becomes possible. Yoga poses to be covered include jump-backs, wild thing, flying pigeon, crow/flying crow, elephant trunk, 8-angle, dragonfly, and firefly. This workshop is perfect for the beginner/intermediate students who want to advance their practice.
Sheryl Kelley, MPH, is a Vinyasa RYT 200 yoga teacher and researcher, also educated in biology, philosophy, public health, and biostatistics.
